UFTI students, faculty, and staff attended the 2022 Transportation Research Board Annual Meeting in Washington D.C. January 9-13, 2022. The event will return to it’s traditional in-person meeting format following health and safety guidelines (https://www.trb.org/AnnualMeeting/COVIDSafety.aspx). The annual meeting’s theme this year is “Innovating an Equitable, Resilient, Sustainable, and Safe Transportation System”.
Participation included presentations at various lectern and poster sessions and TRB committees.

The UFTI-T2 Center
The T2 center will be present at the 101st TRBAM. Dr. Nithin Agarwal, the UFTI-T2 Center Director, will chair the signal timing subcommittee of the TRB Standing Committee on Traffic Signal Systems (ACP 25) on January 9th, 8am – Noon at Convention Center 102.
Scott Tison will also be in attendance as a member of ACP 55 Standing Committee on Traffic Control Device. Scott also serves in the National Committee for Uniform Traffic Control Devices (NCUTDC) and will attend their conference on Thursday in Crystal City.
